Karl Heyer IV is the managing member of Heyer & Associates.
He has a proven track record of success in new business development, project feasibility, and sales and marketing, particularly in the high-rise luxury market in Honolulu. Karl is highly knowledgeable about the local real estate market and is able to offer valuable insights on economic conditions, inventory, and historical perspective. He has a unique ability to convey complex financial and sales strategies to developers, providing guidance from the predevelopment phase through market analysis and feasibility studies.
Karl is known for his expertise in bringing together the various components of real estate development projects, including government regulations, legal considerations, lending requirements, design concepts, construction plans, marketing efforts, and sales strategies. He has a talent for creating accurate cash flow pro formas that model the development process and help developers make informed decisions.
Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu. He was born and raised in Hawaii and is an alumni of Punahou School.

Jeanne Murata seamlessly mastered the art of balancing her dual responsibilities as the Principal Broker and Director of Project Development at Heyer & Associates, LLC while simultaneously holding the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Ocean Investments, LLC. Her impressive leadership and unparalleled expertise across both domains have solidified her reputation as an industry leader, effectively navigating the complexities of overseeing two distinct, high-profile organizations.
Throughout her career, Jeanne held key roles at Stone and Ko Olina Companies, driving over $500 million in resort and project transactions, including the former Ihilani Hotel and Ko Olina Golf Course acquisitions. During her term she assumed pivotal roles in shaping Ko Olina into the premier resort destination that we know and admire today, renowned as one of Hawaii’s most sought-after destinations.
Jeanne also managed the real property division for The Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation and its affiliates, consisting of approximately 292 properties throughout the Hawaiian Islands, generating over $40 million in annual lease revenue.
Jeanne was born and raised in Hawaii and is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is fluent in both the English and Japanese languages.

Matt was born in Brynn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where he attended high school at University High School and college at The University of Arizona.
After college, Matt turned professional (golf) in 1995 and focused on high-end facility development, teaching, and playing. His career path led him to Hawaii and the Kukio Golf & Beach Club on the Big Island, which he helped open from 2002-2005.
Following marriage to Alana Kobayashi in 2004, Alana and Matt relocated to Oahu and Matt began a new career with Heyer & Associates. For the last 18 years, Matt has focused on project sales, specifically luxury high-rises, while also building a robust network of clients, investors, and business partners throughout North America, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Matt still enjoys playing music and golf and teaches both to relatives and friends in his spare time. Matt and Alana enjoy spending time with their two girls, and traveling. They all enjoy music, art, wine and participating in non-profit efforts throughout the State of Hawaii.

Todd Murata is a real estate professional with over 35 years of industry expertise. Over the course of his career, Todd has managed a diverse portfolio of single-family home sales and real estate projects, including developments such as Pacifica Honolulu, Symphony Honolulu, and Azure Ala Moana.
Beyond his achievements in real estate, Todd has also worked in the high-end retail sector. Outside of his professional pursuits, Todd is an entrepreneur who owns and operates a catering company for an impressive 23 years. In his leisure time, Todd enjoys traveling, in the exploration of new destinations and dining at gourmet restaurants. Additionally, he's an avid golfer, finding joy in both the challenges and rewards of the sport.
With decades of experience, an unyielding work ethic, and a passion for both leisure and sports, Todd embodies dedication and professionalism in all his endeavors.

Tammie Ackerman leads the property management division at Heyer and Associates, a role originally meant to be temporary, but quickly became a lifelong commitment.
She has held this role for an impressive 16 years. Tammie thrives finding creative solutions to enhance Heyer's rental properties.
Outside of the office, she unwinds on a farm tending to her animals. Tammie is also a passionate Meals on Wheels volunteer, having delivered hot, nourishing meals to individuals for over two decades. Whether it's her career, farm life, or her dedication to giving back, Tammie approaches life's adventures with a warm and welcoming spirit.
